Here is our earlier story …

Stone Mountain, GA — The DeKalb County Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for a 1-year-old child who was in the backseat of a stolen vehicle.

“On Thursday, March 18, two suspects stole a vehicle with 1-year-old Royalty Grisby inside,” a spokesperson for the Police Department said. “It happened at approximately 2 a.m. as the driver attempted to make a food delivery on the 1200 block Harvest Dale Court in Stone Mountain. If anyone sees Royalty or the vehicle, a maroon 2010 Nissan Armada with tag #RWW4748, we ask them to call 911!”

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the vehicle has been found, abandoned, in DeKalb County. The child was not in the vehicle.

“I just want my baby home,” her mother, Elizabeth Grisby, told reporters through tears, according to the AJC. “That’s it. I just want her. You can take her to the hospital. You can take her anywhere. You can take her to a store. Just bring her home.”
