Tucker, GA — The Tucker City Council on April 26 will hold a special called meeting at work session., starting at 7 p.m.

The City Council will consider at its special meeting a resolution to adopt the expansion of the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District (TNCID) through the addition of nine (9) parcels.

The meeting can be attended virtually. Here are the instructions.

Staff recommends approving the acceptance of the Resolution to Consent to the 2021 TNCID Expansion, according to documents attached to the agenda.. Annually the local Community Improvement Districts (CIDs) come to the City requesting approval of expansion to their district of taxing commercial properties.

Tucker-Northlake CID is adding parcels that fall within its boundary, and the owners primarily sign on a voluntary basis.

According to the notes attached to the agenda, “The TNCID continues to grow while providing security, landscaping, beautification, and other services that increase commercial property value. This CID is an excellent partner on a number of issues including the recently adopted Downtown Master Plan and an upcoming Northlake Transportation Plan.”
