DeKalb Cooperative Extension announces September gardening classes

Decatur, GA – DeKalb County Cooperative Extension will host “September Gardening” virtual classes for free, a press release said.

The September schedule is as follows:

  • “Seasonal Color,” Sept. 2 at noon.
  • “Gardening on a Budget,” Sept. 7 at noon.
  • “Testing for Water Quality,” Sept. 9 at noon.
  • “Water Quality and Treatment,” Sept. 16 at noon.
  • “Hot topics In and Outside the Garden,” Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. and Sept. 23 at noon.
  • “Protecting your Landscape from Pesticides, Petroleum Products and Organic Chemicals,” Sept. 20 at noon.
  • “Radon in Georgia: How to Prevent Radon Induced Lung Cancer,” Sept. 22 at noon.

All classes are virtual via Zoom. Registration is required and can be completed at
