Clarkston, GA — Clarkston Police responded to a call about a person shot on Sept. 2 at about 11:40 p.m. at 1281 Brockett Road within the Silver Oaks Apartments, according to a press release.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a shooting victim inside an apartment with a single gunshot wound to the head. The preliminary investigation has determined the gun shot came from outside the apartment. Officers located spent shell casings nearby at an adjacent building.

The victim is currently in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing and any further information regarding the incident will be released as it becomes available, the press release states.
