Tucker, GA — A public participation meeting is scheduled for Tucker Exchange building at 2059 Northlake Parkway in Tucker at 7 p.m. on Dec. 9. The meeting will take place in the ground floor common area.

The city of Tucker requires a public meeting is before a Land Use application (comprehensive plan amendment, rezoning, SLUP, major modification) can be submitted.

AHS Residential is applying for a Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) and variances for a mixed-use, multi-family development to build out 39 units per acre. A letter to neighbors states AHS “will incorporate the existing five-story office structure and add two new, nine-story buildings. Among other things, the mixed-use development will include approximately 59,315 square feet of office and coworking space, 129 live-work units and 378 multi-family units.”

Plans for the 13-acre property include a clubhouse and recreation area.

AHS Residential broke ground in June on its first metro Atlanta property. Tributary in Douglasville is a $46 million, 433-unit community with one- and two-bedroom apartments and 22,000 sq. ft. commercial space.
