Crash at Lawrenceville Highway and 285 leaves one person with critical injuries

Tucker, GA — The DeKalb County Police Department confirmed a non-fatal crash on Nov. 14 near Lawrenceville Highway and I-285. Three people were taken to the hospital, one with critical injuries.

“Yesterday, we investigated a non-fatal two-vehicle accident on yesterday at approximately 6:45 p.m.,” a spokesperson for the Police Department said. “The incident occurred on the 3200 block of Lawrenceville Hwy. One car was traveling west when it struck a SUV turning east on the highway. The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the car and their passenger were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”

The Police Department is still investigating the crash.
