Tucker, GA — A newly remodeled Walmart Supercenter opening at 4375 Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker last week. A grand reopening ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Nov. 19. The remodeled store includes several department transformations that the corporate office says, “will help customers save time.”

Upgrades also complement the measures the company has taken in its U.S. stores to help protect associates and customers from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, according to a press release from the company.

The store features a state-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays that allow customers to test out electronics before purchasing, and an expanded apparel department. New lighting, signage and fresh paint are just a few of the updates.

Walmart offers online shopping with curbside pickup, touch-free payment and express delivery.

“We’re thrilled about these renovations,” said Store Coach Tanequa Hunt. “Our customers are going to love them as well. We’re excited for everyone to come to the store and see them.”

In Georgia, Walmart Inc. has 214 retail units and employs 64,170 associates.
