DeKalb County, GA — A 5-year-old boy died when a tree fell on his home, according to 11 Alive and other media outlets.

The family lived on Glenwood Road in greater Decatur, 11 Alive reported. His mother was not injured.

“Heavy rain over the weekend left the grounds extremely saturated,” 11 Alive reported. “A wind advisory is in effect for this area until Noon. However, officials have not said what caused the tree to fall.”
