DeKalb Commissioner Larry Johnson will welcome President Biden at NACo Legislative Conference

Photo by Dean Hesse.DeKalb County, GA — DeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson on Feb. 15 will welcome President Joe Biden to the National Association of Counties Legislative conference.
Johnson is the current president of NACo.
President Biden will address the conference at 1 p.m. and his address will be livestreamed here.
“It is an honor to welcome President Biden to our conference, especially as we work with the administration to invest federal resources in our communities,” Johnson said in a press release. “Our strong partnership with the federal government will help DeKalb County and counties across America thrive.”
Almost 1,500 elected and appointed county officials are expected to attend this year’s conference, the press release says. The conference attendees will hear from national experts, consider policy resolution and will meet with other elected officials, including members of Congress.
