DeKalb sanitation service for Presidents Day to run one day late for residential customers

DeKalb County, GA – According to a press release, in observance of Presidents’ Day on Monday, Feb. 21, sanitation service for residential customers will run one day late as follows:

– Monday, Feb. 21 – Presidents Day observed. No sanitation service.

– Tuesday, Feb. 22 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Monday, Feb. 21, will be serviced on Tuesday, Feb. 22.

– Wednesday, Feb. 23 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Tuesday, Feb. 22, will be serviced on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

– Thursday, Feb. 24 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Wednesday, Feb. 23, will be serviced on Thursday, Feb. 24.

– Friday, Feb. 25 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Thursday, Feb. 24, will be serviced on Friday, Feb. 25.

The North Transfer Station will be open from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, resuming normal operating hours on Tuesday, Feb. 22. The Central Transfer Station, Seminole Road Landfill and Customer Care call center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 21, reopening on Tuesday, Feb. 22, during normal operating hours.
