I’d like to alert you to a change on our website. As of Feb. 18, the Decatur Tourism Bureau is now the exclusive sponsor of our events page. The link to our events page is on our navigation menu at the top of the homepage. It was previously named “Events,” but it has now been changed to “Decatur Events” to reflect our new partnership with the Decatur Tourism Bureau. The “Decatur Events” tab now links to a website owned by the Decatur Tourism Bureau.

We are still working to incorporate a larger community calendar into our website. Decaturish has joined with other news organizations to support the “How Do You Atlanta?” website, which was created by Reporter Newspapers. For the time being, links to that website will be included in our weekly events round up. If you have events you’d like to add to the round up, please send those to [email protected]. You can also add those events via the “How Do You Atlanta?” website by clicking here.

This change to our events page makes sense from a business perspective. While we hoped to do more with our events calendar in 2020, the coronavirus pandemic upended those plans as it did so much else. Our partnership with Decatur will allow us to continue providing the quality community coverage our readers expect and deserve.
