Greater Decatur, GA — A rapidly expanding cobbler franchise is making its way to the greater Decatur area.

The Peach Cobbler Factory will open in the Spring near the intersection of Flakes Mill Road and Flat Shoals Parkway. Margarita Yearwood, one of the three owners, said the franchise started in 2013 and has undergone a massive expansion.

“It started with a young couple, serving it out of their food truck,” she said. “It was such a hit and they decided to expose themselves further and create a franchise opportunity.”

At this point, there are new stores popping up monthly.

The Peach Cobbler Factory offers 12 different cobbler flavors, five different puddings and stuffed cinnamon rolls. You can get those topped with the “magic sprinkle” and a scoop of ice cream. She said generally nothing costs more than $7.50.

“It’s a really good price point,” she said.
