Portion of DeKalb Industrial Way at Lawrenceville Highway to be closed on Feb. 18

Share

Decatur, GA — On Friday, Feb. 18, part of the northbound lane of DeKalb Industrial Way, at eastbound Lawrenceville Highway, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while crews install valves on new ductile iron pipe.

Message boards will be placed at the intersection and the section of DeKalb Industrial Way will reopen on Friday at 4:30 p.m., according to a press release.

The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management started this construction project to address repairs needed to about 100,000 linear feet of water pipe as part of ongoing maintenance to improve water service countywide.

Drivers should expect delays due to the lane being closed. Lane closure signs and traffic flaggers will help motorists move safely around the lane closure.
