Report: Motorcycle crash shuts down U.S. 78 near Brockett Road

This morning at 7:30 a.m. we investigated a fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 78 eastbound just east of Brockett Road. Investigators believe the deceased, a male in his late 40s, was riding his motorcycle on 78 just east of Brockett Road when he lost control of his motorcycle. He died on the scene and his ID is pending next of kin.

Tucker, GA — The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that a “serious motorcycle” crash has closed U.S. 78 at Brockett Road in Tucker.
The wreck occurred around 7:30 a.m., the AJC reported.
“Just a few minutes later, all eastbound lanes were shut down and motorists were advised to use U.S. 29 or Memorial Drive instead,” the AJC reported.
