Atlanta Police report finding stash of drugs and guns in Kirkwood

Atlanta, GA — The Atlanta Police Department reported uncovering a stash of drugs and guns at 98 Warren Street in Kirkwood.

The department’s narcotics unit investigated the case.

“Once they obtained sufficient evidence, they obtained a search warrant for the location, and on February 22, 2022, served the warrant and made entry, with the assistance of the Titan’s Unit,” the Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Officers found:

–  11.32 lbs. of marijuana

–  40.1 grams of cocaine

–  336 grams of THC Edibles

– 128 Oxycodone pills

– 44 Dextroamphetamine pills

– 5 MDMA pills

– 3 Percocet pills

– $7,645 USD

– Mossberg 590 12-gauge shotgun serial number 1V28935

– Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm pistol serial number HLJ3404

– FM Products 9mm pistol serial number 18189

– Panther Arms A-15 .223 caliber rifle serial number FFH136649

– 50 drum for .223 caliber rounds

– 30 round magazine for 9mm rounds

Police charged a 48-year-old person arrested at the location with drug trafficking and possessing of a firearm by a convicted felon. They also charged a 37-year-old person with obstruction and said he had an arrest warrant for simple battery out of DeKalb County.
