Valve repair on DeKalb Industrial begins March 14

DeKalb County, GA – On Monday, March 14, overnight work to repair a leaking water main will begin at the intersection of DeKalb Industrial Way and North Decatur Road from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m., a press release said. DeKalb County contractors will repair leaks in the water transmission system of a 30” main.

Residents and businesses should expect low to no water pressure overnight starting on Monday, March 14, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15. Engineers and construction crews will work diligently to repair the leak and minimize the length of impact to residents and business owners as weather permits.

Motorists should expect delays stemming from the repair. Construction signs and traffic flaggers will assist motorists in moving safely around the repair area. Our construction crews will work diligently to minimize the length of impact to motorists.
