Tucker, GA — Art lovers will flock to Peters Park on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Art in the Park, an annual festival to celebrate local potters, painters, sculptors and more.

ARTucker is joining with Tucker Recreation Center for the first juried show since 2019. Art in the Park started in 2015. Today, the event supports Tucker Recreation Center, the Tucker Art Guild, Tucker High School’s art program and Scraplanta Creative Reuse.

A musical performance by Tom Hill Trio will start at 1 p.m. Scraplanta, a nonprofit that empowers artists and makers of all ages to create art from discarded materials, will run a free craft project for children. Tucker High School students will volunteer at the event.

Additional parking is available at St. John’s Apostolic Holiness Church, 1903 Clark Drive, Tucker, GA 30084. A shuttle will run between the parking lot and the event.

More than 25 artists will sell their wares, including potter John Gresens, glass artist Tamara Minor, printmaker Jenny Turner and jeweler Andrea Winkler.
