Stone Mountain, GA — First Baptist Church of Stone Mountain and Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church partnered to host a community egg hunt at the First Baptist Church of Stone Mountain Pavilion on Saturday, April 16. The event featured crafts, games and 2,000 eggs for the children to find. First Baptist Church of Stone Mountain Pastor Kenneth Magness said the two neighboring churches have cohosted Christmas and other events in the past, but this was their first partnership for an Easter egg hunt. He said he hopes it will become an annual tradition.
