Tucker, GA – The city of Tucker is hosting its 2022 Manufacturing Day on May 12 at Stone Ridge Event Center, a press release said.

This is the third Manufacturing Day hosted by the City of Tucker in partnership with the Tucker-Northlake and Tucker Summit Community Improvement Districts. There will be an educational component to this year’s event, as a contingent of Tucker High School students have been invited as special guests.

“We are excited to invite the students of Tucker High School to participate this year,” said Tucker’s Economic Development Manager Jackie Moffo. “The City’s Manufacturing Day is the perfect way to start the conversation of business and career opportunities with the youth of our community.”

The day will start with networking and light breakfast, followed by two panel discussions. The panels, titled “Careers in Manufacturing” and “Tucker Businesses of the Future” will consist of local manufacturing giants PepsiCo, Briggs & Stratton and International Paper, among others. Lunch and more networking opportunities follow the discussions.

To attend Tucker’s 2022 Manufacturing Day, participants can sign up on the City website starting on April 14. Stone Ridge Event Center is located at 1750 Stone Ridge Drive.
