DeKalb County, GA — DeKalb Police have arrested one suspect in connection with a mass shooting at Brannon Hill condominiums that resulted in the deaths of three people and injured three more.

The condos are located in unincorporated Clarkston on Old Hampton Drive. The shooting occurred on May 8.

“DeKalb County Police Department announced today that 25-year-old Ofieo Ojego has been charged with one count of murder and one count of aggravated assault, in the deadly shootings at Brannon Hill Condominium on May 8,” a press release from the county says. “An additional suspect, who has been identified but is not in custody, has been charged with three counts of murder. Anyone with information on these shootings is asked to contact the DeKalb County Police Homicide Assault Unit at 770-724-7850.”

Brannon Hill has been dubbed the worst neighborhood in America due to high crime and subpar living conditions. County officials have been working for years to get a handle on the problem, including knocking down some buildings.
