Tucker, GA — Citizens for Family Activities in Tucker hosted Tucker’s Juneteenth Jubilee on Saturday, June 18.

“I’m very excited to be the organizer of Tucker’s very first Juneteenth Jubilee and I’m grateful for all the help I’ve received from the city and from the citizens,” said Citizens for Family Activities in Tucker founder Camille Mahdi. “I’m happy that people from diverse backgrounds can come together and celebrate the end of slavery, and I hope today is a great day for everyone and that we are able to do it again annually from this point on.”

The festivities included a unity walk down Main Street to Church Street Park where activities continued with live entertainment, food and vendors.
