Clarkston, GA – Ethne Health, a faith-based primary care clinic offering discounted care with free translation in “America’s most diverse square mile,” is celebrating their recent move to a larger clinic space, according to a press release.

The health clinic held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 12, attended by community members from Burma and Sudan. Clarkston Mayor Beverly Burks attended.

Other attendees included:

— Josh Benton, representing the building’s owner Send Relief

— Dr. Robert Contino, CEO and Co-Founder of Ethne Health.

“The new space offers new and exciting opportunities to serve more patients in more ways,” Contino said. “We’re so grateful to our many partners–including the City of Clarkston, Dekalb County, and Send Relief–who have joined with us in our mission to address health inequity in our communities and offer an accessible medical home to those left behind by our healthcare system.

“When we opened Ethne and saw just 9 patients in our first month, I couldn’t have imagined that just four years later we would be seeing more than 700 each month and have moved twice to accommodate the need. We’re so grateful for this blessing, and hope to continue to grow and to serve in a way that advances the love and justice of Jesus, as is written in Ethne’s mission statement.”

The center will provide primary care, psychiatry, physical and occupational therapy, with plans to renovate its former location to provide affordable dental care to patients. Ethne Dental is expected to open in 2023.
