This Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, the 2019 Georgia Book & Paper Fair is returning to Decatur, in conjunction with the annual Decatur Book Festival.

The Georgia Book & Paper Fair is brought to Decatur by the Georgia Antiquarian Booksellers Association, and the fair will be held at the Ebster Recreation Center, located at the intersection of E. Trinity Place and Electric Avenue.

The book fair is free and will be open from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, and from 12 through 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1.

Booksellers are travelling from all around the U.S. to show off what they’ve got, whether that’s vintage books, signed first editions, or handbills and posters. In addition, booksellers will lead book-related sessions over the course of the weekend.
