The crews filming “Goosebumps” planned to shoot around Avondale Estates on July 31, but the production was rescheduled to today, Aug. 1.

According to the email, the date changed “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

“Filming is tentatively scheduled to take place between 8 pm and midnight,” the notice from the city says. “Instead of a traditional film crew, a low-­flying helicopter, flying below 500 feet, will complete this work.”

The crews will be shooting aerial shots of the Avondale Stadium, the city says.

“Area residents can expect to hear noise generated from the helicopter and feel a strong breeze,” the notice from the city says.

The city reports DeKalb Police officers will be present during the filming to direct traffic.

The Goosebumps crew has been through the area before. In May, they filmed at the Decatur Cemetery.
